Ireland - Day 5

Today our excursion leads us over the islands edge to the south. The only two names I remember are Roundstone and Clifden.

I fail to order a simple tea and muffin combination but after three repeats i get what i ordered. :-)

Back on the road we drive over hills, through bends, along the coast, across the land. The landscape changes on this short distance multiple times. Sometimes it's stony and grey, sometimes the land is covered by brown gras. At all it's colorful and gorgeous. Partially it remembers me of Sardegna even so there are massice differences in the humihity to mark out. Under a cloudy sky and a strange fuzzy drizzly rain (the irish folks surely have five different names for this) we continue our road trip.

And then the award awaited us with a fantastic scecnery at the coast of Roundstone. Sky, clouds, sun and island impress us with their whole magnificence. Surreal light and colors show up and all weathers has to give to the watcher is there. We stop multiple times to take pictures and get moisted by the spraying rain. I would say: This is Irelands character.

A second award we get on a road through the hills where we stop at a sea for a ten minutes look around. Clouds sticked to the hills peaks the small road winds along a sea. Really idyllic! If I would do hiking or biking this would be theplace to do so. As I do not yet I note to myself to go here if i ever will. ;-)

The way home starts with the sunset is not disturbed by any inceidents. Timed for the dinner we arrive at home. Could it be better? Enjoy your meal!

PS: Will i ever become warm with the use of 'How are you?' in english language? It's just a greeting phrase here but I think always I must answer this. Chris proposed to say 'Not too bad and you?' I have to train but maybe I will get used to one day.
